The transition dates
Everyone's Card (Climate Companion Pass) launched September 1, 2026. Prepaid Climate Card recharge ended August 31. Prepaid Climate Card use ended September 29. Postpaid Climate Card use ended September 30. The temporary 12-station exchange and help booths ended October 2.
Seoul says existing Everyone's Card / K-Pass users in Seoul receive city-specific transit benefits automatically. Its official notices still describe Ddareungi discount linkage as a later addition without a start date.
What Ddareungi users should do
Use the new pass for its confirmed transit benefits. If the Ddareungi benefit matters to you, wait for a Seoul or Ddareungi notice that gives an actual start date and terms.
